New York, New York

Tomorrow I will be waking up in the city that never sleeps (when my plane lands at LaGuardia at 9:00am). I haven't been this excited for something in a long, long time. I've never been to NYC so you can imagine my elation when I found out I would be taking a week off of classes to visit the Big Apple for the New York Auto Show. Listening to New York, New York by Frank Sinatra has only made the waiting that much more painful, but I don't care anymore because I'll be there tomorrow! Although I'll be working there will be plenty of time for fun, sightseeing, shopping, drinking, eating, etc. and I'll get to see one of my fabulous old family friends who I haven't seen since she moved to New York. Must-see spots on the agenda: classic NY pizzeria, giant versions of my favorite stores, $12 coffees on the Upper East Side, Broadway, any and every sample sale going on, etc. Anything I miss? I'm sure I did because I'v never been there! Send me suggestions!
